The 2022 Pinot Noir Le Pre Du Col Vineyard comes from a site with three different soil types and more shale and shallow soils. It shows off a pristine but more savory profile, with notes of mossy forest floor, preserved red cherries, and crushed flowers. It has a good bit of mineral texture, with slightly broader shoulders but a chiseled feel, and its mouthwatering and fresh, with great underlying, fantastic, balanced length. Its going to age gracefully over the next 15 or more years.
