The citrus really comes to life here asmandarin, Meyer lemon and finally lemonverbena. While green apple, which istypically quite pronounced in Montelenawines, is somewhat overshadowed by theopulence of other flavors, I would expectit to become more prominent over time.Moreover, the texture is still angular andsomewhat tight, which isn’t surprisinggiven the wine’s youth. However, there’scertainly plenty to look forward to withnotes of graham cracker, cinnamon andtoast lingering beneath the surface.
