Flavor is mostly comprised of nice and strong roasted malt character mixed well with some charred malt character. There are transient dashes of herbal hopping, strange bursts of fruity sweetness, and tannic woody components from time to time. Most of the bittering seems to originate from the blackened malts in this brew. Flavor is quite lovely and complex for such a low gravity beer.
