Tuna, Olive Oil & Salt
A luxuriously fatty, fresh and restaurant-quality can of grilled tuna. Abel Alvarez is a restauranteur who after a year of testing, and an additional year of consulting from a local canning firm, canned his first pack of sardines in 2016. Here we have a TASTY loin of bonito del Norte (Thunnus alalunga) caught in the waters of the Cantabrian Sea, clean, cut, grilled over dried eucalyptus wood – a signature of theirs – and packed with extra virgin olive oil and salt. Enjoy in a truly delectable tuna melt, added onto cold rice or in a niçoise salad.
