A deep, dark and enchanting red Burgundy for you fancy n’ classic lovers. Located in Savigny-lès-Beaune since 1946, Domaine Pierre Guillemot is a family-run winery now led by the eighth generation. Organic since 2020, the 10 hectares of estate vineyards spread across the Savigny-lès-Beaune and Corton appellations are planted primarily with pinot noir, plus smaller amounts of chardonnay and aligoté. Their ‘Les Grandes Picotins’ is made from 50 year-old vines on clay and limestone and aged in barrel for 18 months, then in bottle for six months before releasing to the world. What great Burgundy is all about: cherry surprise, plum sauce, wet soil dotted with mushrooms, cedar smoke, rosemary, mint, orange rind & tobacco packet.
