Maderista is a new project from the Madeira Wine Collection and Francisco Albuquerque, the winemaker at Blandy’s. Maderista is a fresh and above all pure Madeira, which focuses on elegance and fruitiness rather than oxidation. The average age of the grapes used is between seven and eight years old. This Medium Dry is a bit sweeter, warmer, and fruitier. It leans more toward the classic Madeira style. It’s an after-dinner drink, perfect with sweeter desserts.
