Tatomer ‘Vandenberg’ Riesling Santa Barbara County, 2023

This wine is made of 100% Riesling. The selection of grapes for this Riesling have a higher percentage of Botrytis, or “Noble Rot”, and come together for a beautifully complex wine. Baked apple, stone fruits, sage and white flowers carry through a textured, waxy finish. This is a strong bottling of wine that can be tucked away and aged to bring out some amazing tertiary flavor notes. Pair it with a little heat and sweet: either a spicy Thai duck curry or your best hot honey wings. Tatomer has been fortunate enough to work with one of the oldest cold-climate Riesling sites still left in California, and the wines showcase wonderful focus and acidity.
