Organically farmed grapes are hand-harvested, spontaneously fermented and sometimes aged on lees. All the wines are bottled unfined and unfiltered with low sulfur addition. All grapes are whole cluster foot stomped. Light bodied with soft tannins, dark berries, black pepper and bitter cocoa. Pair with roast poultry or Wienerschnitzel!

About the Winemaker
Christoph Heiss is a rising star in Austrian natural winemaking, crafting distinctive wines under his Malinga label in the Kamptal region of Lower Austria.
Christoph trained under some of Austria’s most respected winemakers before establishing his own project focused on site-specific, minimal-intervention wines. His vineyards benefit from the Kamptal’s famous loess and primary rock soils, with dramatic diurnal temperature shifts that preserve acidity and freshness.
Farming & Cellar: Christoph practices organic viticulture with hand harvesting and spontaneous fermentation using indigenous yeasts. His wines are unfined, unfiltered, and bottled with minimal sulfites, expressing the pure terroir of Kamptal.
