If Grenache is for lovers, then we’re head over heels for this juicy, purple-hued Garnatxa from a family-owned winery located just outside of Barcelona in a magnificent amphitheatre facing the sea, NBD! Josep, Cristina and their two children have spent their entire lives in the vineyards, farming organically and working with a light touch in the cellar to produce fresh, easy-drinking wines for living, laughing & loving, preferably all at the same time. Lush and fruit-forward, we’re talking classic Grenache, all dark-berried, plummy fruit with an herb stem garnish and ripe, supple tannins. Fermented in tank and concrete egg, this is perfectly medium-bodied, peppery and soft, triple berry compote, leather wallet & a vinegar’d blackberry panna cotta finish. Pair with looking for trouble in all the right places.
